FOOD STYLING

To make your food look as good on camera as it does in real life, takes a whole set of skills and experience to execute. Count on us to deliver that for you so that you can focus on the bigger picture.

Authenticity amongst the counterfeits

There is a certain element of fake in the real when it come to food styling. Burgers are held up by toothpick, real ice cubes are replaced with fake ones to prevent deterioration of the product, water droplets carefully piped onto cups to show condensations. While nothing can ever replace the original, these small little tips and tricks is what helps make the food last that little bit longer under those intense photography lights. The delicate balance between the fabricated and legitimate is intricately woven together by the food stylist so you can never tell where the imitation ends and where the realism starts.

Make your food stand out

Knowing food and the way to manipulate them takes time and experience. What may look to the naked eye might not translate as well in the camera’s lens. A food stylist has the necessary skillset to make your food look amazing for the camera. They can advise on what angle would make the food look the best, and what works to make the impossible happen. Just like how a makeup artist can change the look of a model in a magazine, a food stylist can also affect the appearance of the food in a commerical.
